Chromalloy Tilburg is a site with ca. 170 colleagues.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\"><strong>What is your job scope? <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Chromalloy is looking for a Sr. Buyer to be a key member of the Global Sourcing &amp; Procurement Team and an integral part of Chromalloy Holland. The Buyer has responsibility and has accountability for assisting in the business process, cost management, initiating and executing strategic sourcing initiatives at a site level.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\"><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will be responsible to deliver against cost management targets and provide support to the Sites in several activities, including but not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborating with operations to define material and service needs<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating and managing purchase orders to meet site demands<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining supplier performance (OTD, Fill Rate, and Quality)<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring adherence to internal procurement performance expectations<\/li>\n<li>Identifying and executing on continuous improvement opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Providing information and analysis for make\/buy decisions<\/li>\n<li>Developing and managing purchasing cost savings opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Negotiating supplier agreements<\/li>\n<li>Assisting Global Sourcing leadership with defined projects and executing strategic sourcing initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Supporting Site Planning to ensure RM inventory levers (Kanban, min\/max, etc..) remain current and accurate<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring supplier lead-time accuracy in demand system<\/li>\n<li>Aligning payment terms<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining an in-depth understanding of key supplier business &amp; financial risks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\"><strong>Who are you? <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in business, supply chain or related field,<\/li>\n<li>6+ years\u2019 experience purchasing in a manufacturing environment<\/li>\n<li>Significant exposure and experience with Capital Expense projects<\/li>\n<li>Strong Excel skills and ability to work in a large matrix environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080\"><strong>Chromalloy is offering: <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>A very challenging and demanding position for that person willing to take their career to the next level.
