The Role

In the position of Sales Engineer Service, you are the link between the customer, Customer Service Manager and CSi. You are the contact and source of information for our international customers. You handle both technical and commercial issues, and translate customer needs into appropriate offers. To achieve this, you need to find out our customer’s exact requirements in order to offer the most suitable solution. This within the complete range of services in the field of maintenance and system modifications. In this position, you will be part of the team responsible from request to order.
Responsibilities

  • Proactive client contact with our installed base customers.
  • Assisting the Customer Service Manager with desk sales activities and proposal preparations.
  • Gather the necessary information by involving relevant technical specialists to get the best solution for the customer’s request.
  • You are the ambassador for our products, services and alternative solutions.

Profile

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Three to five years of experience in a similar role within an international project organization, with an affinity for internal logistics systems and/or material handling, with proven sales experience in such markets.
  • Precise and punctual working style.
  • Availability of 32 – 40 hours per week.
  • Experience with the entire process from customer inquiry to closing the deal (including pre-engineering, calculations, offerings, and presenting proposals).
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems, CMMS is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or German is a plus.
